Day 2 of SDCCS2018 – Highlands, Cupcakes, Teachers and Judges CPD and more!

Well that was an amazing first day! We had the first flings flinging, and the first jigs jigging on the stages this morning, followed by some amazing choreographies – such beautiful dancing, costumes, and tributes.

Next up was likely the highest concentration of tartan Stephen Avenue has ever seen – big shout out to the Calgary Police Pipeband and the amazingly energetic dancers who paraded up and down the middle of downtown Calgary.

The opening ceremonies was also a hit with a full house, beautiful performances, tributes, and some words of wisdom from one of our guest speakers, Steph Tolov:

“Leave the week with no regrets…and let’s all have fun!”

So, as you prepare yourself for a day of ‘Highlands’ check out some photos from Day 1, and things to remember for Day 2 of SDCCS2018.
