Saturday JUNE 30: Line Dancing!

Come out and watch some line dancing demonstrations while you pick up your registration packages. Get into the Calgary spirit!!

 

Saturday JUNE 30: Pin exchange

This will take place by the registration area, from 9:00 to 10:00 am.

 

Sunday JULY 1: Canada Day Cupcake Ceilidh.

This will be held from 1:15 to 2:00 pm.  We have a guest choreographer coming to teach dancers a fun, energetic, non-highland dance routine.  Bring a friend!! Sign up will be limited to 40 dancers, and there’s a sweet treat at the end of the Ceilidh.

 

Monday JULY 2: Elevation Celebration Banquet 

Join in on celebrating the achievements of all dancers, with a very special nod to those that competed in the Canadian Championship today!! Tickets are some of the lowest we have been able to provide in years! Come join us for a western themed dinner, fun dessert, a slide show showcasing entries on What Excellence Means to You and after the dinner be sure to join in the fun on the dance floor and get some great pictures with your friends in the photo booth!!

Tuesday JULY 3: A half day venture out to Nanton, Alberta

Need a break from city life and the dancing? Spend an afternoon in Authentic Alberta! A 75 minute coach ride leaving from the Telus Convention Centre at 11:30 am will have you in historic and friendly Nanton, home to unique attractions including the Bomber Command Museum of Canada, Nanton Candy and Ice Cream Store, Antique and Art Walk of Alberta, The Canadian Grain Elevator Discovery Centre, Museum of Miniatures, The Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage, Nanton Golf Club and many more. With the surrounding open prairies to the east and picturesque rolling hills to the west, Nanton is worth taking the trip. It’s a destination that is great for all age groups. Nanton is a cool little town where history lives and cowboy sightings are guaranteed!

Luna Express will pick you up at the Telus Convention Center on Tuesday, July 3rd at 11:30 am and have you back downtown by 6:00 pm

Tuesday JULY 3: Scotch tasting at One 18 Empire

Come Elevate your Knowledge of Scotch by joining us for an intimate Scotch Tasting.

Our event will be held at One 18 Empire, located in the Marriott Hotel, 820 Centre Street S.E. on Tuesday July 3rd at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are $65.00 and will include your scotch tasting and instruction, charcuterie, snack flights and an assortment of other appetizers and signature welcome cocktail.
